Position Overview

Allure Counseling Center is in search of a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Therapist specializing in trauma recovery. This full-time role is primarily remote, allowing you to engage with clients from the comfort of your home while still maintaining a connection to our supportive outpatient office in Ontario, California. You will play a vital role in guiding individuals on their healing journey by providing tailored therapeutic interventions that foster resilience and recovery.

About the Organization

Allure Counseling Center is a leader in providing mental health services tailored for individuals affected by trauma. Our multidisciplinary team is passionate about creating a nurturing and safe atmosphere where clients feel empowered to confront their past experiences. We focus on conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our values are rooted in compassion, respect, and a deep commitment to improving the mental health landscape.

Work Environment

At Allure Counseling Center, we operate primarily on a remote basis, enabling our therapists to manage their schedules while maximizing patient care. Although many interactions will take place from home, you will also have access to our outpatient office for team meetings, collaborative discussions, and occasional group therapy sessions. Our commitment to a balanced work culture ensures that flexibility is a core component of our operations, allowing you to focus on patient needs while also attending to your well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand clients' trauma histories and customize appropriate treatment plans.
  • Design and implement individualized therapy strategies that address specific client needs, emphasizing trauma recovery and resilience.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate patient healing.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a therapeutic space for clients to explore their feelings, process trauma, and develop healthy coping mechanisms.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care for each client.
  • Provide timely crisis intervention and emotional support during traumatic situations to ensure patient safety and stability.
  • Educate clients and their families on trauma response, coping strategies, and external resources available for support.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical documentation following legal and ethical guidelines of practice.
  • Engage in case consultations and team meetings focused on enhancing trauma-informed care practices.
  • Stay current with emerging research and innovations in trauma therapy to continually refine your practice.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Therapist at Allure Counseling Center, you will be primarily working with individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including those diagnosed with PTSD and related disorders. Your compassionate approach will help guide clients through their recovery journeys, providing them with the tools necessary to navigate their emotions and reclaim control over their lives. Your role will have a profound impact on fostering resilience and encouraging personal growth in a population that often faces unique challenges.

Qualifications
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in California.
  • Strong understanding of trauma-related conditions, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and therapeutic resilience-building approaches.
  • Effective communication skills and a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor when working with clients.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, preferably in trauma-informed care.
  • Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapy and interventions, with demonstrated effectiveness.
  • Comfortability with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant clinical applications.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team, contributing to shared goals.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to financial compensation, our benefits package includes:

  • Comprehensive healthcare benefits that support your overall well-being.
  • A retirement savings plan with employer-matching contributions to help you prepare for the future.
  • Generous paid time off (PTO) along with holiday pay to ensure work-life balance.
