This is a full-time position based in Purcellville, Virginia, focused primarily on delivering quality therapeutic services to a school-based client population. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in individual, couple, and family therapy, while embracing our values of commitment, ongoing professional development, and respect for the well-being of our community.

About the Organization

At St. Mary's Behavioral Health Solutions, we pride ourselves on creating sustainable mental health support within the school environment. We understand the challenges that children, adolescents, and their families face, especially within educational settings. Our mission is to provide high-quality mental health services to help students thrive academically and socially. We are dedicated to implementing evidence-based practices and fostering an inclusive environment where every individual feels valued and supported.

Work Environment

As a fully remote position, this role offers flexibility in your work setting while still allowing you to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students and families. You will collaborate with educators, parents, and fellow clinicians, using virtual tools to ensure effective communication and service delivery. Our organization emphasizes a culture of collaboration and support, allowing you to reach out for advice and assistance from colleagues during challenging situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop tailored treatment plans for students, recognizing individual needs and cultural backgrounds.
  • Provide evidence-based individual, couple, and family therapy sessions using telehealth technologies, ensuring alignment with best practices.
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and treatment progress notes in compliance with Virginia state regulations and organizational policies.
  • Engage in regular clinical supervision and participate in team meetings to discuss case management and share insights with fellow professionals.
  • Collaborate closely with school staff and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive wraparound support for students.
  • Manage your caseload efficiently, with the autonomy to adjust your schedule as necessary to meet client needs.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve students, including children and adolescents aged 5 to 18, who may be experiencing a range of emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges. Working within the school environment allows you to support young individuals in navigating the pressures of school life while maintaining their mental health. You will also engage with families to promote systemic healing and coping strategies that extend beyond school hours.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Active and unrestricted Virginia licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Proven track record in delivering individual and family therapy, with emphasis on child and adolescent issues.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, allowing you to foster effective relationships with clients and coworkers.
  • Ability to work independently while managing your own schedule within a flexible work arrangement.
Preferred Experience
  • Two years of clinical experience, preferably working with school-aged children and families.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital documentation systems.
  • Experience in participating in interdisciplinary team meetings or school staff collaborations.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, our benefits package includes:

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans to meet your health needs.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match to help you prepare for your future.
  • Flexible scheduling options to accommodate your work-life balance.
  • Life insurance coverage for additional peace of mind.
  • Generous paid time off (PTO) and sick leave to support your well-being.
  • Access to administrative and billing support, allowing you to focus on patient care.
  • Opportunities for advanced training and professional development in your areas of interest.
Career Growth Opportunities

At St. Mary's Behavioral Health Solutions, we are committed to your professional growth and development. We provide resources for ongoing training, certification opportunities, and workshops aimed at enhancing your skills in clinical practices, leadership, and community engagement. You will also have the opportunity to mentor new staff and contribute to program development initiatives as your career progresses.
