GENERAL OVERVIEW:
Remedy Place is the world's first social wellness club looking to help people feel better by enhancing both their health and their social life in a positive environment of cutting-edge treatments and like-minded community members. We are a highly-talented and growth-oriented team looking for a Physical Therapist to help with Remedy Place's newest New York location in SoHo, New York. You will be working with an integrative and holistic-minded team of healthcare professionals with a common goal of helping to make people feel better.
As a Physical Therapist in our Movement Rx Suite at Remedy Place, you will be at the forefront of restoring and perfecting proper movement in our guests' bodies. You will work closely with our chiropractic team to ensure a seamless transition from pain relief to optimal physical performance. Your role involves administering active care, recognized as some of the best in the industry, to rapidly enhance mobility and alleviate pain. You'll educate guests on movement principles and exercises that empower them to maintain pain-free, high-functioning bodies. At Remedy Place, we believe that movement cures, and your expertise will be essential in helping our guests achieve and sustain peak physical health.
At Remedy Place, human connection is at the core of our brand. Our doctors are expected to actively build and maintain strong relationships with our guests, going beyond just providing treatments. This includes networking within our community, self-marketing, developing a personal book of patients, and ensuring consistent follow-up and care. While Remedy Place offers an exceptional environment and access to an incredible community, it is crucial that our doctors take the initiative to fill their appointment slots and maintain these relationships to meet their KPIs. Success in this role is not just about clinical expertise but also about cultivating trust and loyalty among our guests, ensuring that they choose you as their go-to health provider within our club.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Assess a patient's medical condition by reviewing their medical history, listening to the patient's concerns, and performing a physical examination
  • Analyze the patient's posture, spine, and reflexes
  • Conduct orthopedic and neurological tests
  • Identify health problems
  • Build programming around active physical therapy to include, administering and teaching corrective movement, correcting muscle imbalances, stability and mobility areas of improvement and perfecting movement for preventing pain or injury and enhancing performance.
  • Prescribe and teach patients corrective exercises
  • Educate the patient on all other modalities in Remedy Place. (Hyperbaric, infrared saunas, ice baths, cryotherapy, compression therapy, IV's, meditation and nutrition)
  • Advise patients on health and lifestyle issues, such as exercise, nutrition, and sleep habits
  • Refer patients to other health care professionals, if needed
  • Networking, Self-Marketing, Building and keeping your book of patients
  • Maintaining relationships with guests, follow up, check-ins

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must have a degree as a Doctor of Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university
  • A valid license to practice in respective state of the club
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience, preferably within sports medicine
  • Must be solution oriented
  • Must be organized
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, personable, and friendly disposition
  • Must enjoy working within a team
  • Strong time management skills and practices
  • Proven Experience in Patient Relationship Management.
  • Networking Skills
  • Sales and Marketing Acumen: Experience in personal branding, patient acquisition, and retention strategies to maintain a full appointment book.

  • Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) (any of the levels)
