Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Full Time

Location: Lincoln City, Oregon
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Schedule: Varies | 0.9 FTE
Salary: $38.69 – $56.81/hour ($72,000 – $106,000 annually)
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000
Relocation Assistance: Up to $10,000

Position Overview

Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join its Respiratory Therapy team. The RRT will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric populations, in both critical and non-critical care settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients and provide respiratory care based on physician orders and approved protocols.
  • Perform respiratory diagnostics, treatments, and therapeutic procedures.
  • Monitor and support patients with cardiopulmonary conditions.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers about respiratory care and treatments.
  • Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide evidence-based respiratory care in a fast-paced hospital environment.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and follow hospital policies and safety standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Current Oregon Respiratory Care License required.
  • BLS (Healthcare Provider Level) required upon hire.
  • ACLS required within 90 days of hire.
  • PALS required within 90 days of hire.
  • NRP required within 6 months of hire.
  • At least 1 year of experience required; 2 years of clinical respiratory care experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, teamwork, and patient-care skills.
