This position is located in Bend Oregon and will require applicants to be open to relocating to work onsite.

Role Responsibilities

The Oncology Veterinary Technician supports the veterinary oncologist in delivering compassionate, high-quality care to patients undergoing cancer diagnosis and treatment. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work with patients and clients experiencing emotionally challenging situations. The technician assists with diagnostic procedures, chemotherapy administration, anesthesia, patient monitoring, and client education.ย 


In this fast-paced environment, you will play a critical role in ensuring that each patient receives timely and effective treatments. Your ability to remain calm and organized will be essential as you triage medical situations and follow directives from the veterinary team. This position requires keen attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a dedication to patient welfare, making you a vital asset in our mission to provide exceptional veterinary care.

Education & Experience:

  • Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) credential, or equivalent (RVT, LVT), from an accredited veterinary technician program.
  • Proven track record of clinical leadership and or prior experience in an Oncology setting.
  • If hired, the employee will be required to attain an OR CVT license within 45 days of starting the position.
