As a Mental Health Counselor at Senua Counseling Clinic, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive intake assessments and biopsychosocial evaluations to establish medical necessity and appropriate diagnoses for clients.
• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
• Providing short-term and long-term counseling services utilizing evidence-based practices, creative tools, and therapeutic techniques to support client progress.
• Maintaining precise and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Collaborating with families and outside professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care, including services and referrals when necessary.
• Participating in regular clinical staff meetings, supervision sessions, and professional training to enhance your skills and contribute to team performance.

Our patient population is diverse, including individuals, couples, and families from various backgrounds facing a range of mental health issues. As a counselor, you will have the opportunity to work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and other mental health concerns, promoting acceptance and understanding while addressing their unique situations.

To thrive in this role, the following qualifications are required:

• A Master’s degree in a behavioral health science from an accredited institution.
• Current residency in Oregon or willingness to relocate.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting biopsychosocial/diagnostic assessments and treatment planning.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey clinical information and support clients.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage caseloads efficiently under the supervision of the Clinic Director.
• An ethical approach to practice with the ability to maintain appropriate boundaries with clients.

While not required, the following experiences may enhance your application:

• Experience working in a community health setting or a similar environment that values creativity and innovation in therapy.
• Familiarity with collaborative client care involving multi-disciplinary teams.
• A history of community involvement or initiatives aimed at destigmatizing mental health.

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to salary, benefits include:
