The Team


Our civil engineering teams focus on site and infrastructure design, including leading projects such as the 16th Street Mall redesign in Denver.


Responsibilities


Project Design and Management:

  • Utilize AutoCAD/Civil3D to design, detail, and coordinate small to medium-sized projects within budget and time constraints. Manage and mentor a team of civil engineers and CAD technicians.

Client and Team Interaction:

  • Serve as the primary point-of-contact with clients, contractors, and other design disciplines. Attend project meetings during design and construction phases.

Quality Control and Administration:

  • Provide quality control checks of work produced, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards. Support project construction administration, including shop drawing review, responses to Requests for Information (RFIs), and field observations.

Budget and Invoicing:

  • Monitor project budgets and review/approve client invoices. Work overtime when necessary to meet project deadlines.

Requirements


Required

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Colorado or ability to obtain one within 3 months.
  • 5-8 years of progressive civil engineering experience
  • Must be eligible to work for any employer in the United States, without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Ability to work in the Fort Collins area. Relocation reimbursement may be provided, depending on the role and job function.

Desired

  • Min 4 years' experience in site development, land development, or infrastructure.
  • Min 1 years' experience with Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Knowledge of or proficiency with Civil3D, StormCAD, FlowMaster, WaterCAD, AutoTurn.
  • Shows strong interest in participating in company initiatives
  • Construction field experience
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

Compensation


The wage range for this role considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

  • Base Salary: For individuals hired in Colorado, a reasonable estimate of the current range for this role is $89,000 to $108,000 annually.
  • Accrued Time: This is a salaried position with accrued time eligibility. Accrued time allows additional compensation or time-off to be earned for any eligible hours worked exceeding 40 hours per week.
  • Base Salary Review: This role is eligible to participate in Martin/Martin's annual base salary increase review process.
  • Annual Bonus: This role is eligible to participate in a discretionary annual bonus program.

Base salary review and increases, in addition to annual bonuses, are dependent on various factors, including a hired individual's job-level and annual company performance.
