This position is offered as a remote role, which allows for flexibility while maintaining consistent support for our clients. You will primarily work from a home office but will also conduct field visits as needed to assess client conditions and provide direct support.

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' psychosocial needs, ensuring a holistic understanding of their emotional, mental, and social factors influencing their recovery.
• Develop personalized care plans in collaboration with clients and their families, addressing specific goals, preferences, and challenges.
• Deliver counseling and emotional support, assisting clients in navigating the challenges of sobriety and mental health recovery.
• Advocate for clients' rights, ensuring access to necessary community resources and services that support their rehabilitation.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals, including addiction specialists, nurses, and counselors, ensuring a cohesive approach to client care.
• Assess living conditions and address safety concerns through regular home visits and communication with clients.
• Facilitate family communication and conflict resolution, promoting a supportive environment conducive to recovery.
• Educate clients and families on community resources, support groups, and recovery programs aimed at enhancing overall well-being.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all assessments, care plans, and client interactions in compliance with ethical guidelines and organizational policies.
• Stay updated on current legislation, best practices, and ethical standards in social work, contributing to the continual improvement of service delivery.

The primary focus of this role is on clients in a detoxification program. This diverse patient population may include individuals from various backgrounds, facing challenges such as substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. As a Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in addressing the multifaceted needs of these clients and their families, striving to improve their quality of life and support their journey towards recovery.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).
• A minimum of two years of professional experience in social work, preferably within a detox or addiction recovery setting.
• Strong knowledge of social work practices, addiction issues, and community resources available for clients in recovery.
• Exceptional counseling, assessment, and advocacy skills.

• Experience in a detox center or similar therapeutic environment, particularly with a focus on elderly or vulnerable populations.
