They may also evaluate geographic data, compensation packages, and market conditions to optimize relocation strategies. These analysts typically work with HR, real estate, and finance teams to support workforce mobility initiatives and ensure smooth transitions during relocations.

Relocating for a Data Analyst role often involves adapting to a new company culture, understanding region-specific data privacy regulations, and building relationships with a new team. Job seekers should research the local data landscape, familiarize themselves with relevant regulations, and proactively reach out to future colleagues before moving. Additionally, leveraging company-offered relocation support and participating in onboarding activities can help ease the transition and ensure a successful start.

Job description

About Christ Community Health Services

Since 1995, Christ Community Health Services (CCHS) has provided high-quality healthcare to the underserved in the context of distinctively Christian service. As a faith based Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), we serve approximately 60,000 patients each year across our Memphis health centers, offering primary care, dental, behavioral health, pharmacy, and specialty services to the communities that need them most.

About the Role

The Data & Analytics Analyst supports the delivery of enterprise reporting, analytics, and data insights across clinical, dental, pharmacy, financial, human resources, and operational domains to enable informed decision-making and organizational performance. Reporting to the Sr. Data & Analytics Analyst, this role develops reports, dashboards, and data analyses that provide actionable insights to stakeholders across the organization, working with established data sources, reporting standards, and analytics processes to ensure information is accurate, consistent, and accessible to end users. The Analyst collaborates with operational, clinical, and administrative teams to support reporting needs, performance measurement, and continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to data validation, report development, and analytics activities that support organizational goals while adhering to enterprise data governance and reporting standards.

Our Core Values — and What They Look Like in This Role

As a faith based Federally Qualified Health Center, CCHS expects every team member to embody our core values in daily practice. These values are explicit, measurable performance expectations — how the work is done matters as much as what is done. Here is what they mean for a Data & Analytics Analyst:

  • Intentional Love — Extending compassionate, whole-person care to every patient, family member, and colleague. In this role it means remembering that the numbers behind every report represent real patients and real care, and translating data into insight that helps CCHS serve them better.
  • Devoted Service — Approaching every responsibility with humility, reliability, and a servant's heart. In this role it means delivering accurate, on-time reports stakeholders can count on, and following through when a data question or discrepancy needs chasing down.
  • Humble Excellence — Pursuing the highest standard of clinical and professional quality while remaining teachable and Christ-centered. In this role it means validating data thoroughly, documenting your work clearly, and pursuing the highest standard of accuracy — while welcoming feedback and escalating what's beyond your scope rather than guessing.

Employees in this role are expected to model these values in patient interactions, team collaboration, and community engagement, in support of CCHS's healing ministry.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards across clinical, dental, pharmacy, financial, HR, and operational data domains.
  • Produce accurate, consistent, and timely reporting aligned with organizational definitions and standards.
  • Support recurring and ad hoc reporting needs across departments.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, performance indicators, and potential issues, translating findings into clear, actionable insights for operational and clinical stakeholders.
  • Support decision-making by providing data analysis aligned with business needs.
  • Validate data accuracy and completeness across reporting outputs, and investigate discrepancies with system owners (Clinical Systems, Finance, HR, etc.) to resolve issues.
  • Escalate recurring or systemic data quality issues to Senior Data & Analytics leadership for investigation and resolution.
  • Partner with clinical, operations, finance, HR, dental, pharmacy, and quality teams to support data and reporting needs, gathering requirements and translating business needs into reporting deliverables.
  • Maintain working knowledge of enterprise data sources, including clinical, dental, pharmacy, financial, and HR systems.
  • Coordinate with Clinical Systems and IT teams on data access, extraction, and validation.
  • Support testing, validation, and quality assurance activities related to new data sources, integrations, and reporting enhancements.
  • Support tracking and reporting of organizational KPIs and performance metrics, and assist in monitoring trends and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to dashboards and reporting tools used by leadership.
  • Maintain documentation of report logic, data definitions, and parameters, ensuring reporting outputs are reproducible and aligned with standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, accuracy, and usability, and support enhancements to dashboards, reporting tools, and analytics processes.
  • Participate in initiatives to improve analytics capabilities and data maturity, including evaluation and testing of new reporting, analytics, automation, and data visualization tools.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in data analytics, healthcare, information systems, or a related field required; equivalent experience considered.
  • 2–4 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or healthcare analytics.
  • Experience working with healthcare or enterprise data preferred.
  • Experience with reporting tools or analytics platforms.
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an understanding of data structures and reporting concepts.
  • Experience with healthcare reporting and performance measurement concepts preferred.
  • Understanding of data visualization best practices and dashboard design principles.
  • Ability to communicate data effectively to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Generous Paid Time Off (120 hours in your first year) plus paid holidays.
  • 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Annual paid Restorative Day supporting wellness and work-life balance.
  • Mission-driven culture, employee recognition programs, and the opportunity to do work that directly expands healthcare access in Memphis.
