The Opportunity:
As data analyst, you love diving into data and turning it into meaningful insights. With the abundance of structured and unstructured data, you understand the importance of transforming complex data sets into useful information to solve challenges. As a data analyst at Booz Allen, you can use your skills and experience to support a mission and use data for good. We need a data analyst like you to bring your knowledge to support Navy Fleet readiness.
As a client-facing data analyst on our Navy Supply Operations team, you'll work closely with your clients to understand their questions and needs and then dig into their data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle. Not only will you provide a deep understanding of their data, you'll also advise your client on what the information means and how it can be used to make an impact on education, resources, trainings, and policies to ensure sailors receive proper awareness to form career-forwarding decisions.

You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience in a professional work environment
  • Experience presenting data findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders using databases and scripting languages
  • Experience preparing customer data for models, including merging and aggregating data, handling anomalies, balancing, and feature selection
  • Experience establishing quantitative and qualitative met rics and key performance indicators to drive technical outcomes
  • Experience applying data visualization through different formats such as graphs, tables, and PowerPoint slides
  • Ability to research, develop, and test data met hodologies
  • Ability to support client and stakeholder relationships, conceptualize directions, analyze trends, and develop justifications for Navy leadership decisions
  • Ability to contribute to impactful work and guide decision-making by applying communications, validation, and research to simplify technical requirements and trends for varied audiences
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
