Relocation nannies may also assist with packing, organizing, and settling into the new home, and sometimes stay with the family for a set period after the move to provide ongoing support. This specialized service is particularly valuable for families with young children or those moving internationally.

Job description

LAKEWOOD, CO (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY) – A warm, welcoming family just outside of Denver is seeking an experienced FULL-TIME, LIVE-OUT NANNY to join them long-term in caring for their two children, ages 9 months and 4.5 years old. This wonderful family has successfully partnered with The Nanny League twice before and is returning for a third search after their beloved nanny of 2.5 years is relocating back home to Hawaii due to a family emergency. They are hoping to find another exceptional fit who will become a trusted, loving extension of their family.

The schedule is Monday through Thursday from 7:15 AM–4:15 PM, with Fridays from 7:15 AM–8:15 PM to allow for a weekly date night. Mom is now home more during the day and actively involved with the children and household, creating a collaborative and supportive team environment. There are portions of the day where care responsibilities may be shared, or where the nanny may assist with light household support while Mom is with the children.

The family is seeking someone with strong prior experience caring for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children who is warm, dependable, engaging, and proactive. The ideal candidate genuinely loves young children and enjoys creating a nurturing, stimulating environment filled with play, learning, outdoor time, and developmentally enriching activities. Responsibilities will include complete childcare, school and activity transportation, helping maintain routines, preparing children’s meals/snacks, and confidently managing the day-to-day flow of the children’s schedules.

The nanny will also be responsible for transporting the children to and from preschool, swim lessons, activities, and therapy appointments as needed. A safe, reliable, insured vehicle and clean driving record are required, and mileage reimbursement will be provided. During school hours or quieter parts of the day, the nanny will assist with light household support related to the children and maintaining an organized home environment, including children’s laundry, tidying common areas, making beds, vacuuming, and similar household tasks.

The family has a sweet Golden Retriever, so candidates must genuinely love dogs and feel comfortable around pets. Benefits include PTO, paid holidays, mileage reimbursement, and an expense account for meals and activities while out with the children. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience. The family is hoping to move quickly and would love to have someone start on or before June 8th!
