We are looking for a full-time Project Manager to join our team at Szulgit Electric in Rochester, NY, who will oversee various electrical projects. This role offers competitive pay at $25-$40/hour and a robust benefits package, including bonuses, health care benefits, holiday and vacation pay, and retirement benefits with a company match up to 3%. We have been providing excellent electrical and security contracting services for over 30 years! Though we mainly serve the Western New York area, our work has taken us all over the state. We handle all types of electrical systems but have an emphasis on fire, intrusion alarms, card access, and cameras. Keeping whatever you value safe is our number one priority.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • 10+ years of electrical experience
  • Knowledge of contracting and developing budgets, project management, management proficiency, tracking budget expenses, planning, and performance management
  • Knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods, etc.) as well as an understanding of industry practices, processes, and standards, and their impact on project activities
  • Knowledge and proficiency in estimating programs, Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of the NFPA codes and strong problem-solving skills
  • Leadership abilities and present self in a professional manner
  • Ability to take the project from estimate to close out
  • Ability to run multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions
