Job Description
Job Summary:
The Jr. Project Manager - Warehousing is responsible for assisting and executing the administrative support of the Project Manager team. The Jr. PM works collaboratively in and outside of the PM team to ensure project start-up has maximum efficiency and also work to assist on billing reconciliation as the project moves to storage phase.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None for this role.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Assist in sourcing needs and activities including but not limited to sourcing temp workers, forklifts, special equipment, waste removal etc. from approved vendors
  • Assist in daily transportation communication with carriers throughout the project lifecycle
  • Assisting with data integrity throughout a project lifecycle – audit inbound and outbound data, ensure data is as expected daily, highlight irregularities and duplicates to PM, etc.
  • Assist in project set up documentation (driver packets, JHA, PRD, etc.)
  • Prioritizes "Safety First" for all phases of the project
Education and Experience:
Associate's degree or related work experience in relevant field - background in business, management, budgeting amp; analysis, and/or Supply Chain desired
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
Self-starter
Outside the box thinker with problem-solving aptitude
Excellent communication skills
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
Microsoft Office proficient
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel
Physical Requirements:
  • Travel is expected to light for this role but can be used for site audits if the team needs a resource.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.    
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities. 
  • Communicates with coworkers, third-party providers and vendors.
  • Must be able to adhere to standard operating procedures.
  • Time spent in typical office environment.
  • Time spent in typical warehouse environment.
  • Moves throughout building and/or worksite.
  • This role requires inspection of sites to detect safety concerns.
