Summary/Objective
The Project Manager will oversee projects from initiation to completion. The responsibilities include planning, executing, and finalizing projects. The PM will coordinate team members and third- party contractors to ensure successful projects.

Essential Functions

  • Oversee multiple projects across all phases of development.
  • Monitor workflow and make timeline adjustments as needed.
  • Maintains delivery schedule for job based on customer requirements and OGI workloads.
  • Maintain job documentation and complete jobs within ERP system.
  • Coordinate shipping with customers and/or freight supplier.
  • Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment on objectives.
  • Facilitate regular project status meetings and provide reports to senior management.
  • Utilize project management tools and methodologies to optimize workflow and efficiency.
  • Foster a productive team environment, resolving conflicts and motivating members.

OGI has determined this position involves safety-sensitive job duties and will be considered a safety-sensitive position for purpose of the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act ("The Unity Bill.") effective August 29th, 2019.

Supervisor Responsibility
This position has supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment
Non-temperature controlled environment with loud noises, dust, dirt, and metal particles that are usually associated with metal fabrication shops. All employees are required to wear personal protective equipment to include noise/hearing protection, safety glasses with side shields, and OSHA compliant safety boots/shoes within the manufacturing facility.

Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee in this position is regularly required to sit and stand for long periods of time. This position requires walking. The employee occasionally will lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional work hours and weekends may be required as job duties demand.

Travel
Minimal travel is required for this position.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a leadership position of a production/manufacturing facility is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • PMP or Agile certification is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
