Job description

 
DEPARTMENT:                     Operations     
LOCATION:                           Eau Claire, WI
REPORTS TO:                      Operations Store Facilities Manager
TRAVEL REQUIRED:           1 travel day quarterly (4 per year)
 
POSITION SUMMARY:
Facilities Service Coordinators are responsible for managing all aspects of assigned Trades or core areas.  This includes Policy and Procedure maintenance, bidding and contracting of services, continual program evaluation, researching/implementing new strategies, budgeting and expense management, and assisting stores with day-to-day questions from Store Team Members in order to improve end results and lower Operational Expenses
 
 
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Service Coordinator will be responsible for the above listed management of the following core areas of responsibility:
  • HVAC Preventative Maintenance
  • HVAC Filter Changes
  • HVAC and EMS (Energy Management System) Monitoring
  • Energy Procurement (Natural Gas and Electricity)
  • Energy Efficiency Initiatives and Utility Rebates
  • Electrical                                            
The Service Coordinator Team is responsible for managing the maintenance and repairs of the stores from the Eau Claire General Office to ensure they are completed on time, within the allotted budget, and meet the contractual obligations.
  • Schedule the service and coordinate with the GM staff
  • Communicate with the vendor and ensure that work is completed on time
  • Communicate updates and report status of projects to the Operations Facility Manager
  • Upon completion of the projects, verify punch lists are complete and sign off on the project.
 
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experience in with one or more of the above trades is preferred but not required
  • Associates Degree or higher in a related field considered a plus
  • Menards retail experience is preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Knowledgeable in bidding, estimating, contracts, and drafting work specifications.
  • Must be able to work full-time with the ability to put in overtime (average 45 hours per week)
    • Typical schedule consists of Monday – Friday 8am-5pm
  • Relocation to Eau Claire, WI
