Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – PM Shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM)

Location: Mauston, WI
Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Every Other Weekend
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week


Position Overview

Fair View Nursing Home is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for our Long-Term Care (LTC) unit on the PM shift. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate care to residents, assist with daily living activities, and maintain a safe, comfortable environment in our skilled nursing facility.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as toileting, bathing, grooming, dressing, and transferring.

  • Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs.

  • Record and report changes in resident condition to the nurse.

  • Take and document vital signs, weights, and other required information.

  • Report any allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation immediately to the charge nurse.

  • Maintain resident safety and dignity in all interactions.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications
  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Wisconsin (required).

  • Current BLS certification (required).

  • 1+ year of LTC or CNA experience preferred, but not required.

  • Strong communication skills, compassion, and attention to detail.
