Your Role as Medical Director
As Medical Director, you'll serve as the clinical leader of the hospital while continuing to practice medicine. You'll spend the majority of your time seeing patients while partnering with the Practice Manager to guide medical excellence, support your fellow veterinarians, and help shape the future of the practice.
You'll have the opportunity to:
  • Lead by example through exceptional patient care and high-quality medicine
  • Establish and uphold medical standards and best practices
  • Mentor and develop associate veterinarians through coaching and case collaboration
  • Foster a positive, collaborative hospital culture where every team member feels supported
  • Partner with the Practice Manager on hospital operations, workflow, scheduling, and strategic initiatives
  • Help recruit and onboard future veterinarians to grow the team
  • Support continuous improvement in medical quality, client experience, and hospital performance
  • Serve as the hospital's Responsible Veterinarian and maintain regulatory compliance
