Senior Logistics Manager

Odyssey Systems is recruiting for a Senior Logistics Manager to support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center/PEO Digital Directorate (AFLCMC/ESDI). The Air Force Program Execution Office for PEO Digital (AFPEO/HB) has the collective Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) mission responsibility to manage and execute the modernization, development, testing, production, fielding, and sustainment of the PEO Digital portfolio, which includes over 130 programs for the United States Air Force (USAF) and foreign allies. AFLCMC/PEO Digital Directorate is headquartered at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA with geographically separated operating units CONUS and OCONUS.

Responsibilities

In this Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) role, the Senior Logistics Manager provides expert-level logistics and product support expertise to Department of Defense (DoD) programs. The position supports government leadership with acquisition lifecycle planning, sustainment strategy development, risk management, and logistics execution to ensure mission readiness and long-term system viability.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Program & Product Support
  • Identify and analyze funding, manpower, material, facility, and service requirements necessary to support assigned programs
  • Correlate program requirements with execution plans to ensure timely and effective logistics support
  • Develop and maintain sustainment planning documentation including LCSPs, ILSPs, PS-BCAs, DSOR/SORA packages
Logistics & Sustainment Planning
  • Develop and execute logistics and sustainment strategies, including Component Depot Activation (CDA) support
  • Address Diminishing Manufacturing Sources (DMS) challenges through supply chain analysis and alternate sourcing strategies
  • Support transitions to Air Logistics Complex centers
Acquisition & Lifecycle Support
  • Support all phases of the acquisition life-cycle including source selection and acquisition strategy development
  • Assist in development of CBAs, ICDs, CDDs, and CPDs
  • Maintain requirements traceability and provide decision-support analyses
  • Support development of T&E documentation including TEMPs
Metrics, Analysis & Reporting
  • Provide logistics analytical support focused on supply, reliability, and maintainability metrics
  • Conduct Business Case Analyses (BCA) and trade studies
  • Develop briefings and milestone documentation for leadership reviews
Proposal & Financial Support
  • Provide logistics input to RFPs, SOWs, and CDRLs
  • Assist with development of program office estimates, financial reports, and related analyses
Coordination & Administrative Support
  • Coordinate with Product Support Managers, Material Support Managers, and functional specialists
  • Assist in preparation of reports, memorandums, acquisition documentation, and source selection materials
QualificationsCitizenship: Must be a U.S. citizenMinimum Required Qualifications

Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret clearance

Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field with 12 years of experience in the respective discipline, including 5 years in the DoD

Preferred Qualifications โ€“ Experience & Knowledge

Education: Master's degree in related field with 10 years of experience in the respective discipline, including 5 years in the DoD

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience integrating logistics functions to plan, implement, or execute logistics programs
  • Familiarity with the acquisition lifecycle and product support planning
  • Understanding of DoD 5000-series acquisition processes
  • Experience with Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements
  • Knowledge of PS-BCA, LCSP, and LHA processes
  • Knowledge of DoD program planning, funding, and management systems
  • Broad understanding of organizations involved in providing logistical support
  • Foreign Military Sales (FMS) experience (preferred but not required)
  • Logistics management; program planning and baseline documentation
  • Experience with MILโ€‘STD processes and products

Technical Skills

  • Familiarity with acquisition lifecycle and product support planning
  • Knowledge of DoD 5000 series acquisition processes
