Job description

Paragon Cyber Solutions is searching for those ready for an exciting and dynamic career as a LMS Specialist to join other smart, talented, and dedicated engineers that pride themselves in analyzing the most difficult challenges. United States Army Fires Center of Excellence (FCoE) has the mission to train, educate, and develop Soldiers and Leaders; create and develop capabilities; and provide a Fires Force to support the Joint Warfighting Commander across the spectrum of operations in Joint and Multinational environments. The US Army Fires Center of Excellence - Fort Sill (USAFCOEFS) Chief Information Office Support Staff has the responsibility to provide Information Technology (IT) services to USAFCOEFS. The sustainment of current and emerging IT support is a critical enabler to accomplish all USAFCOEFS missions.
Clearance: SECRET clearance or have the ability obtain an INTERIM SECRET clearance.
Requirements
Essential Functions
  • Monitor the ATIS to ensure stability and performance for USAFCOEFS courses. The course manager will be responsible for the creation and sustainment of new courses using the approved Blackboard Naming Convention.
  • Recommend new technologies and capabilities, including ATIS updates and mobile applications. Approved Army Training Support Center (ATSC) upgrades shall be planned and coordinated with USAFCOEFS LMS users to minimize loss of availability.
  • Serve as the ATIS subject matter expert (SME) to assist the Government in the development and customization of LMS course frameworks.
  • Assist Government users (e.g. instructors, course managers) by providing training on LMS functions in support of efficient and productive usage.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact (POC) for enrollment and disenrollment of Government users as well as authorizing required access. Users including students, instructors, and writers, shall have access through specified terminals (e.g. government furnished equipment, personal electronic devices) as directed by the Government.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report Blackboard LMS usage and availability for Government assessment and analysis.

Required Experience
  • Has knowledge, skills and experience with developing and sustaining Learning Management System capabilities.
  • Experience associated with the ARMY Distributed Learning Systems.
  • Two (2) or more years of experience developing courses with LMS
  • Two (2) or more years of experience administering courses in LMS
  • Two (2) or more years of experience managing community engagement with LMS
  • Two (2) of more years of experience managing content in LMS
  • Two (2) or more years of experience developing and sustaining online training sites

Additional Eligibility Qualifications
  • SECRET clearance or have the ability obtain an INTERIM SECRET clearance.
  • The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements
