Maintenance Supervisor

North Vernon, IN

Reliance One, Inc. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead and support maintenance operations in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role is responsible for ensuring safety, equipment reliability, strong team performance, and adherence to maintenance standards across all shifts.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe and healthy maintenance environment by following company policies, organizational standards, and legal requirements; proactively address issues and escalate concerns as needed.
  • Lead maintenance team performance through selecting, training, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining associates as required.
  • Communicate job expectations, monitor performance, and support performance evaluations in accordance with company policies.
  • Assign and guide maintenance staff to meet production demands and maintenance requirements.
  • Ensure productivity and quality standards are met by resolving operational issues and supporting continuous improvement efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Receive and review shift reports, allocate resources, and execute daily maintenance plans.
  • Monitor maintenance activities, adjust priorities, and resolve operational challenges to support uninterrupted production.
  • Complete required documentation, including logs, reports, and maintenance records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Support department and organizational success by assisting with additional tasks and projects as needed.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
  • Hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
  • 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Ability to work across multiple shifts and support 24/7 operations.
