Per Diem Respiratory Therapist (Traveling) – Pennsylvania FacilitiesJoin Our Growing Healthcare Team

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Therapist (RT) to provide per diem respiratory care services across multiple skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities throughout Pennsylvania. This role is ideal for a clinician who enjoys variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to make an impact at several locations while supporting residents with their respiratory needs.

Position Summary

The Respiratory Therapist will travel to assigned facilities throughout Pennsylvania to assess, treat, and monitor residents with respiratory conditions. The RT will collaborate closely with physicians, nursing teams, and facility leadership to ensure high-quality respiratory care and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Assess residents' respiratory status and develop appropriate care plans.

  • Administer respiratory treatments and therapies as ordered by physicians.

  • Monitor and evaluate residents receiving oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, CPAP/BiPAP therapy, and other respiratory interventions.

  • Provide education and training to nursing staff regarding respiratory care best practices.

  • Assist with respiratory-related admissions, readmissions, and clinical evaluations.

  • Ensure accurate documentation in accordance with facility, state, and federal requirements.

  • Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and resident reviews.

  • Travel to multiple facilities throughout Pennsylvania as needed.

Qualifications
  • Current Respiratory Therapist license in Pennsylvania.

  • CRT or RRT credential required.

  • Previous experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, or acute care preferred.

  • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities across multiple locations.

  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Pennsylvania.
