This role involves building and operating automated test equipment, interpreting blueprints and schematics, and documenting detailed test procedures while collaborating closely with manufacturing engineers, technicians, and quality teams.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot electronic components and assemblies down to the component level using established diagnostic methods and test equipment.
  • Perform testing on mechanical and electronic equipment in accordance with aerospace standards such as AS9100 and IPC-610.
  • Build, configure, and use automated test equipment to support production and engineering needs.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering documentation to determine appropriate test setups and troubleshooting steps.
  • Conduct environmental testing using vibration tables and thermal chambers to validate product performance and reliability.
  • Run test procedures from start to finish, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and repeatability of test results.
  • Apply LabVIEW standards to read and run test procedures where applicable.
  • Document test procedures and results in detail, following AS9100 and IPC-610 requirements and internal documentation standards.
  • Troubleshoot and repair printed circuit boards (PCBs), including analog and digital circuitry, to restore proper functionality.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing engineers, technicians, and quality personnel on the production floor to resolve technical issues and improve test processes.
