Position Summary Global C2 Integrations Technologies is seeking a Test Engineer responsible for planning and executing test and validation activities for mission-critical computing systems in on-premises operational environments. This role supports system integration, verification, performance validation, and acceptance testing to ensure systems meet technical, security, and operational requirements.

The position works across engineering, cybersecurity, configuration management, and infrastructure teams to validate system functionality, interoperability, and readiness in accordance with established engineering and quality assurance practices. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain test plans, procedures, and strategies supporting system integration, deployment, and validation activities.
  • Define verification and validation methods, including test criteria and pass/fail standards aligned to system requirements.
  • Coordinate test activities and schedules with appropriate teams.
  • Conduct hardware and software integration testing in lab and operational environments to validate system functionality and interoperability.
  • Verify integration of computer infrastructure, networking components, operating systems, and application software.
  • Execute performance, stress, and reliability testing; evaluate system behavior under operational workloads and mission scenarios.
  • Assess system performance metrics (throughput, latency, efficiency, & resource utilization).
  • Support acceptance testing of delivered systems, ensuring compliance with requirements.
  • Document test results, discrepancies, & defects; support troubleshooting & cause analysis.
  • Provide test status reporting, readiness assessments, and recommendations to leadership.
  • Develop and maintain automated and regression-based test scripts and frameworks.
  • Utilize test tools for system monitoring, logging, diagnostics, and performance analysis.
  • Maintain test environments and ensure alignment with system configuration baselines.
  • Support system readiness reviews, integration events, and operational certification activities.
  • Collaborate with system engineering, configuration management, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams to ensure successful system validation and deployment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in system testing, validation, or system integration environments.
  • Experience testing integrated hardware and software systems.
  • Familiarity with test planning, verification methods, and defect tracking processes.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting Government programs or mission-critical computing environments.
  • Familiarity with system integration labs (SIL), operational test environments, and hardware validation processes.
  • Experience with automated testing tools and performance monitoring systems.
  • Familiarity with test frameworks such as Developmental Test & Evaluation (DT&E) and Operational Test & Evaluation (OT&E).
  • Relevant certifications such as ISTQB Certified Tester or Security+.
