Job description

Allied Reliability is seeking a Prodcution Supervisor for Mining operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe workplace and work culture

  • Primary point of contact for contractors, truckers, and other external personnel as applicable

  • Meet budgeted production targets for both mining and stripping

  • Maintain environmental compliance

  • Manage data capture including but not limited to SAP inputs, timecard administration, EMS system, Blast reporting, etc.

  • Manage employee productivity, job performance, and overall production efficiencies within the quarry

  • Implement training plans to provide employees with the necessary training to perform their job safely and effectively

  • Review barriers identified during shift turn over meetings to develop and monitor action plans to overcome the obstacles

  • Verify procedures and work instructions are effective and being followed

  • Provide feedback to the maintenance team to support operational objectives

  • Ensure compliance with work instructions to define and control the production process

  • Execute Ore Control Program

Basic requirements:

  • Associates or bachelors degree preferred

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in mining environment

  • Positive and proactive attitude with ability to address issues and implement solutions

  • Understanding of basic workings of heavy equipment

  • Detail and process oriented with strong problem resolution abilities

  • Must be able to work in a team environment and willing and able to adapt to fast-paced changing environments

Knowledge and Skills

  • Broad knowledge of safety programs and initiatives in areas such as
    • Incident investigation
    • Execution of training programs
    • Daily safety practices including inspections of workplaces and equipment
    • Participation in MSHA inspections
    • Execution of area specific safety initiative
  • Drilling, Blasting, Mobile Equipment operation preferred
  • Basic knowledge of mine planning and execution preferred
  • Resource allocation and scheduling
