By applying for your expertise within our facility in Birmingham, AL , as a Maintenance Manager : 

  • Lead and develop maintenance employees and contractors while promoting a strong culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork
  • Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and plant up time
  • Drive operational excellence through root cause analysis, continuous improvement initiatives, and reliability-focused strategies
  • Oversee maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution of work orders
  • Manage maintenance budgets, labor, and parts spending
  • Lead CAPEX projects from planning through execution, including developing project proposals and justifications
  • Coordinate OEM vendors, contractors, and outage activities
  • Support and improve reliability systems, PM effectiveness, and asset criticality programs.
  • Ability to train and support teams in electrical troubleshooting skills and problem-solving techniques.
  • Partner with production and leadership teams to identify and resolve operational issues
  • Ensure compliance with all occupational health, safety, and environmental requirements
  • Utilize SAP or similar ERP/CMMS systems to support maintenance operations and reporting

  • Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement practices

  • Experience managing budgets, projects, and maintenance priorities
  • Experience in SAP/ERP Systems and Microsoft Office
  • Proficient with PLCs, motor drives, pneumatics, and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred:

  • Engineering degree or technical degree
  • Experience in paper, packaging, converting, or industrial manufacturing
  • Project management experience
  • Reliability certifications such as CMRP, CRL, MLT, MLA, or IR/UT certifications
  • Experience with AutoCAD
