Job description

Role Summary
Focus on improving equipment reliability and reducing maintenance issues across approximately 3,000 restaurant locations.
Investigate recurring equipment failures, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions.
Lead engineering improvements that reduce downtime, repair costs, and maintenance budgets.
Work with internal stakeholders and vendors to implement design, material, software, and process changes that improve equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures and reliability issues.
Manage projects aimed at reducing maintenance and operational disruptions.
Test and validate equipment changes and improvements.
Coordinate engineering change efforts with manufacturers and suppliers.
Analyze equipment performance trends across restaurant locations.
Develop solutions that can be scaled across a large and diverse restaurant network.
Support business cases and financial justification for reliability improvement initiatives.
Communicate findings and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams.

Candidate Profile
Strong engineering and project management skills.
Experience identifying equipment failures and implementing permanent corrective actions.
Background in reliability engineering, design improvements, product engineering, manufacturing engineering, or maintenance engineering.
Experience driving engineering changes related to design, materials, software, or processes.
Ability to work directly with vendors and suppliers.
