About the Role:
As a Senior Maintenance Manager, you will transform workplace environments by leading site-based maintenance operations and developing the next generation of maintenance leaders. In this critical role, you'll oversee Maintenance Managers and their teams, develop strategic maintenance programs, and drive operational excellence across your site. You will blend strategic planning, financial management, and leadership development while navigating between managing preventative maintenance programs, coordinating with operations teams, and responding to emergencies that require quick, decisive action. You'll balance proactive planning with real-time problem resolution while fostering a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement across your entire organization of 80+ team members.

Key job responsibilities
Key job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• You will provide leadership and mentorship to Maintenance Managers and Area Maintenance Managers, fostering professional growth, performance excellence, and developing bar-raising talent across your maintenance organization
• You will develop and maintain comprehensive preventative maintenance programs, manage site budgets and capital spending plans, and drive continuous improvement initiatives while maximizing equipment uptime and operational efficiency
• You will ensure rigorous adherence to safety protocols and procedures across all operational areas while partnering with site leadership to implement, audit, and enforce maintenance execution and safe work practices
• You will manage vendor relationships, coordinate external contractors, provide technical leadership on equipment end-of-life decisions using ROI analysis, and leverage Amazon's network size to maximize economies of scale
• You will travel domestically up to 15% of the time to support network-level initiatives and provide guidance across multiple sites
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of managing large complex facilities organizations experience
- 7+ years of senior management and leadership responsibilities experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Reliability Engineering, or 2+ years of Amazon RME (BB/3P) Full Time Exempt experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in managing large complex facilities organizations

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
