Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (Onsite)
Contract Length: 18 months
Role Overview
We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support Small Business Lending and Deposit platforms. This role focuses on production engineering, site reliability, application support, and platform modernization. The successful candidate will support critical digital banking and lending applications while helping to modernize environments migrating to OpenShift Container Platform (OCP), enhancing platform reliability and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in daily stand-ups focused on production health and support activities.
  • Investigate and resolve incidents, alerts, and support tickets related to production systems.
  • Assist with production deployments and infrastructure changes.
  • Improve monitoring and observability capabilities by building dashboards and alerting solutions.
  • Develop automation to reduce manual support efforts using Python, Unix/Linux, and Shell Scripting.
  • Support the onboarding of applications migrating to OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
  • Drive continuous improvement in platform reliability and operational efficiency.
  • Support Salesforce-based applications, including troubleshooting issues, integrations, and configurations.
  • Participate in incident management, problem management, and root cause analysis processes.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
Technical Skills:
  • Site Reliability Engineering (SRE): Monitoring, observability, alerting strategies, dashboard creation, and incident response.
  • Infrastructure & Platform Engineering: Production deployments, OpenShift Container Platform (OCP), and containerization technologies.
  • Scripting: Python, Unix/Linux, Shell Scripting.
  • Monitoring & Observability Tools: Experience with tools such as Grafana, Splunk, AppDynamics, or ThousandEyes.
  • Automation: Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Salesforce platform support and administration.
  • Knowledge of nCino.
  • Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot or implementing AI-driven monitoring.
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry or other large enterprise environments.
