Job Description
The Reliability Analyst supports Aircraft Sustainment efforts for the Air Force & Advanced Systems Operating Unit by performing data-driven reliability analysis across multiple aircraft platforms. This full-time position supports System Program Offices located at Hill AFB, UT, with primary work performed at the KBR office in Clearfield, UT. The analyst applies reliability engineering principles, including but not limited to Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), aircraft component classification methodologies, and Electrical Wiring Interconnection System (EWIS) programs, to analyze aircraft maintenance, failure, and sustainment data in order to identify trends, assess risk, and support improvements in reliability, availability, and cost effectiveness.
Position Summary
KBR, Inc. is seeking a highly capable and organized Reliability Analyst to join our team in Clearfield, UT.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform aircraft and component-level reliability analysis using maintenance, failure and sustainment data
• Apply reliability methods and statistical techniques to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
• Support effective use of reliability and maintenance analysis software to document and communicate analytical results
• Assist in the development of technical reports, briefings, and presentations for government and contractor stakeholders
• Conduct basic statistical and cost analysis in support of sustainment and maintenance decisions
• Collect, organize, validate, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources
• Utilize technical data in accordance with established procedures, schedules, and configuration controls
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while maintaining professional working relationships with customers and coworkers
• Participate in meetings and working groups related to reliability and sustainment analysis
Qualifications
Required:
• Bachelor's degree with three (3) years' experience in military aircraft maintenance and reliability, or data analysis, or seven (7) years of equivalent professional experience in lieu of a degree is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels within the organization.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software and similar database/analysis/reporting software.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Desired:
• A working knowledge of military aircraft, aircraft systems, support equipment, and trend/reliability analysis.
• Proficient in the use of Military (Air Force) technical manuals, supply systems, and maintenance policies and regulations.
• A knowledge of technical report writing/editing; creating meeting minutes; briefing material preparation; creation and assisting in the development of technical documents.
• Ability to solve problems, establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision.
