TTM is seeking an Operations Reliability Engineer to support production and field reliability activities across active programs. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining contractual reliability deliverables, supporting environmental stress screening, leading failure analysis and corrective action processes, and driving continuous reliability improvement through data-driven methods. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across engineering, production, program management, and customer-facing environments.
Must have a background that would permit the U.S. Department of Defense to issue a Secret Clearance, which includes US Citizenship
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop and support contractual SDRL/CDRL deliverables including R014 reports, Monthly Summary Data, and Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) documentation for both warranty and non-warranty failures.
  • Support the development and execution of HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Testing) and HASS (Highly Accelerated Stress Screening) programs. Monitor ESS and HASS effectiveness, and adjust profiles based on integration results, field performance, and warranty data. Provide guidance on retest options and environmental test chamber operations.
  • Perform customer-required corrective actions and serve as a technical liaison between the company, customers, and suppliers to ensure timely and effective issue resolution.
  • Manage and support the Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS), including trend analysis, RCCA development, supplier interfacing, and review of Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) from production test data.
  • Chair program-specific Failure Review Boards (FRB), facilitating internal and supplier issue resolution and driving closure of open action items.
  • Support Production Readiness Reviews (PRR), Test Readiness Reviews (TRR), and internal/external program reviews, ensuring reliability considerations are adequately addressed.
  • Participate in internal PMO, Operations, and support group meetings including customer rating reviews, TIMS updates, and monthly program reviews.
  • Develop and track program reliability performance metrics such as field MTBF assessments.
  • Perform in-house and field failure trend analysis, initiate investigations, and drive corrective actions to reduce failure rates and improve product reliability.
  • Support reliability predictions and development reliability analyses as needed to complement operational reliability activities.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong understanding of reliability engineering principles and their application in a production and field support environment.
  • Experience with environmental stress screening methodologies including ESS, HASS, and HALT testing, profile development, and effectiveness monitoring.
  • Hands-on experience with FRACAS processes including failure trending, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking.
  • Familiarity with contractual reliability deliverables in a defense or aerospace environment (SDRL/CDRL).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret field and production data to identify trends and drive meaningful corrective actions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present findings and recommendations to internal teams and external customers with clarity and confidence.
  • Proficiency with commercial and program-specific software tools including MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Windchill, Agile, Oracle, and statistical analysis tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering specifications, technical reports, and contractual documents written in English.
  • Must be eligible for a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.

Education and Experience:
  • Minimum 3+ Years Relevant Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Aerospace or related Engineering discipline

Compensation and Benefits:
TTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs. Benefits are available on the 1st of the month following date of hire. For some positions, only PTO and holiday benefits are offered.
Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:
$87,088 - $145,146
Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.
