Job Description:

The client has identified projects that will use the Sales Force application as the base foundation layer. Currently, release management support and hosting in the Sales Force Government cloud has been provided by vendor resources. The SOM desires to transition these activities into a "center of excellence" (COE) that will be jointly staffed by contract and staffs. Our initial focus is to acquire expertise to help us establish a release management process using Team Foundation Server (TFS) tools that will promote the following efficiencies:


Qualifications

Enable concurrent and ongoing development streams, with multiple teams of developers in multiple locations, making changes to new and existing Sales Force applications.

Implement usage of a version control solution, providing the ability for development teams to undue changes quickly and easily by ensuring complete traceability and recovery of both configuration and custom components.

Reduce the manual overhead required to deploy code between environments through the usage of automated tools.

Identify potential security and quality issues.

Generate metrics through automation of deployment and testing.
