The minimum and maximum projected annualized salary for this position is: $104,071.41 to $173,691.72. Additional compensation may be possible based on experience and skills.
We understand the need to be creative and flexible when it comes to telecommuting and other alternative work arrangements. This position is eligible for our hybrid remote work and will work in the Tysons Corner, VA office four days per week.
Responsibilities
The SBA Relationship Manager will be responsible for the generation of new relationships and servicing of existing commercial clients, in an effort to evaluate the client's needs and align with appropriate bank products. Performs the underwriting for the proposed transaction and presents to appropriate parties for approval and carries the approval to closing.
Qualifications
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) relatable area or commensurate additional SBA lending and/or portfolio management
  • 2 years SBA lending or portfolio management in a financial institution required, with hands-on experience in loan underwriting and analysis
  • Understanding of principles of financial analysis
  • Working knowledge and understanding of SBA SOP (most recent version) and Servicing SOP
  • Good customer management and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of banking products and services
  • Ability to analyze and present a credit request in line with Bank policy and SBA SOPs

Preferences:
  • 7a Lender Diploma through the National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders
