The Client Relationship Associate plays a crucial role in the smooth functioning of the office. With overall responsibility for day-to-day operations, the Client Relationship Associate must be able to work effectively with other staff members, clients, and Wealth Advisors.
Responsibilities & Activities:
  • Communicates with clients in person, in writing, and over the telephone. Meets with clients to complete paperwork and attends periodic client update meetings with select clients.
  • Manages new business and client services:
    • Meets with clients and starts new client forms processing.
    • Communicates with client, and manage their planning or account services needs promptly.
    • Follows up with clients as needed to make sure all paperwork is processed.
  • Case Management:
    • Manage cases that at different stages, proactively provide assistance needed to push the cases forward.
  • Communicates, implements, and ensures compliance with guidelines and policies:
    • Maintains compliance polices and documentation.
    • Manages the compliance and advertising approval process.
  • Develops and maintains written documentation (systems) of all activities.
  • Event Management and Marketing:
    • Handle logistical and marketing details for client events
    • Send out invites, coordinate with venue and maintain marketing database.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • Strong interpersonal and client relationship management skills to engage with our clients and our "crew"
  • A learner's mindset and an appetite for financial acumen, eagerness to learn and grow
  • Strong attention to details, analytical skills, and problem-solving
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent attitude and an extraordinary client service orientation
  • Track record of balancing multiple priorities simultaneously, accommodating unexpected requests or needs, and following through
  • Ability to operate within tight deadlines
  • At least one year of relevant experience in a financial or insurance services firm assisting with day-to-day operations preferred.
  • Proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite tools
  • Proficiency with financial planning and customer relationship management software is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience. Finance, economics, accounting, business, or related major preferred
  • Reliability is an essential function.
