WHO is Sound Generations?

We are a comprehensive non-profit organization that serves older adults and people with disabilities in King County. Our mission is to partner with older adults to provide accessible and inclusive services so they can age their way.

We are currently seeking a Donor Relations Manager to join our Marketing & Philanthropy team in Seattle, Washington.

What will YOU do?

The Donor Relations Manager oversees the individual donor giving program. The scope of work includes donor communications, prospect research, cultivation, and stewardship activities. This position will manage the third-party direct mail vendor content, oversee the Annual Report and Year-End Appeal, and all associated budgets.

Pay Rate: $82,537 per year.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage donor relations program with specific focus on non-major and direct mail donors.
  • Oversee content of third-party direct mail campaign vendor, all data exports to direct mail vendor, data reports, and analysis.
  • Ensure accurate and timely accounting data input for monthly revenue.
  • Develop and implement core communications in multiple mediums including, but not limited to the Annual Report, year-end appeals, positive aging partners campaigns, and fundraising campaign materials.
  • Create and implement impact plan for research, identification, cultivation, stewardship, and solicitation of a portfolio of 75-100 mid-level donors.
  • Oversee dashboards, reporting, donor relations and stewardship activities in established databases. Analyze and compile data and information for reports. Prepare narrative or statistical reports.
  • Continually enhance individual giving campaigns to take full advantage of donor giving capacity.
  • Develop a collaborative and effective team in a healthy work environment. Supervise, train and evaluate assigned employees.
  • Represent program/department to internal and external audiences.
  • Develop and manage assigned budgets and operating plans. Reconcile and oversee financial donation coding and approve invoices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and fundraising experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a fund-raising environment.
