A Reinsurance Climate Specialist is a professional who evaluates and manages the risks posed by climate change to reinsurance companies. Their work involves analyzing climate data, modeling potential impacts of extreme weather events, and advising on risk transfer strategies. These specialists help reinsurers understand and mitigate the financial impacts of climate-related events, ensuring the company remains resilient in a changing environment.

This collaborative approach ensures that the company can proactively respond to evolving climate risks and maintain a resilient portfolio.

  • Strong understanding of risk analysis principles and their application to business, infrastructure, insurance, or resilience challenges.
  • Demonstrated consulting experience with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear business recommendations.
