About this position:
Job Type: Full Time, Onsite
Schedule: Shift: Typically, Monday-Friday 7 AM - 4 PM
Wage Range: $23.75 to 30.75 hourly DOE
Purpose of the Position:
The Project Coordinator is responsible for fostering communication between the Company and sub-contractors while managing project costs for Farwest Steel's rebar contracts through accurate scheduling, timely contract modifications, and distributing submittals, and subcontracts.
Major Duties:
  • Manage the flow of information and provide change management on multiple projects.
  • Coordinate the flow of information on active projects.
  • Set up initial project files.
  • Prepare change orders to the scope of work.
  • Log submittals to and from the customer.
  • Process submittal reviews; may include periodic drawing checks.
  • Review incoming documents from the customer and evaluate for cost impact to contract and/or scope of work.
  • Process orders for production team.
  • Provide initial point of contact for customers.
  • Assist support personnel with periodic project billings.
  • Preferred Qualifications include: Knowledgeable in Project Scheduling and Reinforcing Steel Industry practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • A college degree or advanced courses in construction preferred.
  • Computer skills and ability to learn job specific software programs.
  • Accounting basics and principles are required.
  • Must be organized and attentive to goals and deadlines.
  • Ability to work successfully in high-pressure situations.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Reliable and be ready to work on time daily.
