Job description

Excellent opportunity! Corewell Health in Southeast Michigan (Royal Oak, MI) is seeking a Urologist to join our team. The practice is looking to add a BC/BE Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FMPRS) physician with excellent diagnostic and surgical skills who is patient centered, collaborative, and has a strong desire to teach residents and medical students.

The Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital Women’s Urology Center specializes in diagnosing and treating sensitive and complex urological and pelvic health conditions in women. Patients are treated by board-certified, fellowship-trained physicians, advanced practice providers, and psychologists. The Women’s Urology Center provides specialized, compassionate, and multidisciplinary care for women with urologic and pelvic health issues—focusing on dignity, innovation, and improved quality of life.

The center provides care for a wide range of women’s health and urologic concerns, including:

  • Urinary incontinence (leakage), urgency, and frequency
  • Pelvic organ prolapse
  • Interstitial cystitis (painful bladder syndrome)
  • Chronic pelvic, bladder, or vulvar pain
  • Sexual dysfunction or pain with intercourse
  • Post-cancer vaginal discomfort or dryness
  • Certain colorectal-related concerns

The center uses a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach, combining:

  • Specialized medical evaluation
  • Pelvic floor physical therapy
  • Psychological support for emotional and behavioral aspects
  • Minimally invasive procedures
  • Integrative therapies (e.g., medical massage, guided imagery, Reiki)

You will be an employed physician, with knowledgeable practice management professionals assisting in day-to-day operations and take advantage the resources and referral base of the larger Corewell Health system. Ideal candidates will also possess excellent interpersonal skills for program building, exceptional communication skills to help expand the referral base and strengthen community ties.
