Job description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented OD/ID/Surface Grind Hand to join Antech Tool. In this role, you will be responsible for operating grinding machines to produce precision components, ensuring that all parts meet strict quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in machining processes. Pay is competitive and will depend on your experience and will be discussed during the interview.

Responsibilities

  • Operate OD (Outside Diameter) and ID (Inside Diameter) grinding machines to produce high-precision components.
  • Surface Grinding
  • Inspect finished products for adherence to specifications using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Perform routine maintenance on grinding machines to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with co-workers to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
  • Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining processes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience in machining, particularly with OD/ID grinding processes.
  • Familiarity with other machinery such as 2-axis/3-axis/5-axis milling machines, and lathe machines is preferred.
  • Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
  • Personally own required basic tools for grinding applications.
  • Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently as well as with others in a flexible environment.
