Job Summary and Qualifications

A Rehabilitation Aide assists physical and occupational therapists with routine patient care, department maintenance, and patient transport under direct professional supervision.  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Patient Support: Transport patients, help with patient-related activities, and assist during therapy treatments as assigned by licensed professionals 

  • Department Maintenance: Keep the physical therapy department clean, organized, and properly stocked 

  • Equipment Care: Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and setup of therapy equipment 

Qualifications & Requirements 

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED  

  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) or Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire. 

  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, bend, and lift or move patients and equipment up to 50 pounds. 

  • Experience: Prior healthcare or relevant support experience is preferred 

** This is a Weekend position and weekend availability is mandatory**
