Position Summary
As an Assistant Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the community at Robert's RV Resort. Your responsibilities will include learning and performing various key functions such as administrative tasks, marketing initiatives and property maintenance. Crucially, you'll also prioritize guest and resident relations, ensuring a positive atmosphere and delivering Epic Customer Service. By fostering satisfaction among guests and nurturing long-term relationships with residents, you'll contribute to positive word-of-mouth referrals and enhance the overall experience within the resort community.
Performance Objectives
  • Ensures customers/residents receive a high level of service consistent with Roberts Epic Customer Service
  • Respond promptly and effectively to guest and resident inquiries, addressing concerns as needed
  • Collaborate with the Resort Manager and marketing department to boost reservations, increase occupancy, and enhance the Robert's Resorts brand
  • Oversee major functions of the resort, including handling and resolving guest and resident concerns promptly and effectively
  • Assist in staffing and scheduling of resort staff, ensuring adequate coverage and adherence to operational procedures
  • Serve as primary leader in the absence of the General Manager, providing guidance and direction to resort staff as needed
  • Work closely with the General Manager and Vice President of Operations to address operational issues and ensure guest satisfaction
  • Enforce resort rules and standards, maintaining a positive and orderly environment for guests and residents
  • Manage financial aspects of the resort, including sending statements, posting rents, handling delinquent accounts, and monitoring operating budgets
  • Communicate regularly with resort guests through Rent Manager via email and text communications
  • Taking reservations, sending reservation confirmations
  • Assist in monitoring monthly operating budgets and prepare explanations for P&L variances
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing fair housing laws and resort operations
  • Assists General Manager and Vice President of Operations with preparation of annual operating budget as needed
  • Markets Park models, pre-owned and brokered homes for sale in the resort as well as prepares documents to list and sell homes
  • Provides data to assist in capital expenditure and expansion budget needs General Manager and/or Vice President of Operation

Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in the property/resort management industry preferred
  • Experience in customer service roles or hospitality industry is beneficial
  • Familiarity with resort operations and regulations is a plus
  • Proficient in basic computer programs including MS Office-Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Valid Driver's License

  • Constantly sit, talk, or hear; Frequently use hands.
  • Manual dexterity for handling paperwork and using office equipment.
  • Clear vision and hearing for reviewing documents and communicating effectively.
  • Capability to lift up to 30 pounds.
