Job Description
  • Oversee the project's programmatic activities and daily operations to ensure effective execution.
  • Review reports and implement programs to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze operational processes and procedures to identify opportunities for performance optimization.
  • Define and establish clear operational goals aligned with project objectives.
  • Prioritize tasks and adapt service delivery strategies as needed to meet evolving demands; may supervise staff.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of all technical aspects of operational units.
  • Stay current with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and policies related to welfare and workforce development programs.
  • Drive performance and productivity across teams and project areas.
  • Delegate responsibilities and provide guidance to staff to meet or exceed performance standards; monitor performance and recommend coaching and or corrective actions when necessary.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with partners to promote open and consistent communication.
  • Coordinate and oversee training activities to ensure staff are equipped to implement project activities effectively.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support project success.
Qualifications
  • Preferred associate degree in a related field or a minimum of two years’ work experience in a related field, or a satisfactory equivalent of education and experience
  • Experience organizing, planning and developing program operations at a supervisory level
  • Knowledgeable about community resources and able to work with and relate to job seekers and be culturally sensitive
  • Knowledgeable about Workforce programs and can navigate appropriate state and contract specific system(s)
  • Ability to work independently/self-starter while remaining in communication
  • Computer literate and have MS Word and Excel skills at minimum, and the ability to learn specialized databases and software systems
  • Bilingual a plus
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel systems, and the ability to learn specialized databases and software
  • Current driver’s license (with low-risk driver rating) and automobile liability insurance
