Neos is Seeking a Sr. QA Automated Engineer (Database & Regression Testing) for a long-term contract role with our client in Austin, TX.

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
QA automation engineers design automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically. This includes determining the priority for test scenarios and creating execution plans to implement these scenarios. Designing documentation for automated processes.
  • Design and execute test plans and test cases for database applications.
  • Perform functional, performance, and regression testing on various databases.
  • Identify, document, and report defects and issues found during testing.
  • Work with development and database administration teams to resolve issues.
  • Develop and maintain automated scripts for database testing.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across various database systems.
  • Monitor database performance and provide recommendations for optimization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather testing requirements and objectives.

CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
8 years Required Experience with designing automated tests by creating scripts that run database testing functions automatically
8 years Required Experience in prioritizing test scenarios and creating execution plans to implement these scenarios
8 years Required Experience in creating test plans, test cases, and preparing test environments
8 years Required Experience in performing moderately complex functional, application, and regression testing
8 years Required Knowledge of the software development life cycle and software development methodologies
8 years Required Able to interpret requirement documents and able to update test documents accordingly
8 years Required Strong familiarity with analysis, planning and management reporting functions
8 years Required Acquires knowledge of the Customer's business in assigned area
