What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Regression Testing position, and why are they important?

To thrive in Regression Testing, you need a solid understanding of software development processes, expertise in test case design, and strong analytical skills, often supported by a degree in computer science or a related field. Proficiency with test automation tools like Selenium, JUnit, or QTP, and familiarity with version control and defect tracking systems, is commonly required, while certifications such as ISTQB can be beneficial.
