Job Requirements

  • ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required
  • PALS and TNCC strongly preferred for emergency care success
  • Epic charting experience preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency department environment
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients across the lifespan
  • Perform rapid assessments, triage, and prioritize care based on patient acuity
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and emergency interventions safely and accurately
  • Monitor and manage patients with cardiac, neurologic, respiratory, trauma, and behavioral health needs
  • Assist with advanced procedures and stabilization including airway support, chest tube management, and trauma care
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, and support staff to deliver coordinated patient care
  • Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety standards throughout the shift
  • Respond effectively to changing patient conditions in a dynamic Emergency Department / CDU setting
