Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join a specialized Electrophysiology team in Peoria, Illinois.

In this role, you will assist physicians with specialized radiologic procedures performed using sterile technique for the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The Radiologic Technologist prepares procedure rooms, positions patients, operates advanced radiology equipment, and provides hands-on support throughout procedures.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ARRT-registered Radiologic Technologist interested in expanding their experience within Electrophysiology and specialized procedural imaging.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians during specialized radiologic and electrophysiology procedures
  • Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies
  • Maintain sterile technique throughout procedures
  • Position patients appropriately for imaging and procedures
  • Operate complex radiology equipment using established protocols
  • Obtain radiographic exposures as directed by the physician
  • Pass instruments, supplies, and materials during procedures as needed
  • Provide safe, age-appropriate patient care
  • Monitor patients and communicate significant concerns to the appropriate care team
  • Participate in the department's on-call rotation
  • Follow established radiation safety and patient care standards

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree required
  • Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program
  • Current ARRT registration
  • Current Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) Radiology license
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous patient care experience
  • Electrophysiology, Special Procedures, Interventional Radiology, or procedural imaging experience
  • Experience working in a sterile procedural environment

Compensation & Incentives

Pay Range: $33.85–$43.30 per hour

Sign-On Bonus: $25,000
