  • Start Date: 10/12/2026
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,450 - $2,580
  • Orientation: 30 hours
  • On-Call: 1 night per week, every 4th weekend
  • Charting System: Cerner
  • First-Timers: Accepted
  • Scheduling: Block scheduling discussed with manager
Job Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience required
  • Active Illinois RN license required at time of submission
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
  • Experience in interventional radiology, procedural nursing, or procedural care preferred
  • Ability to care for adult and geriatric patient populations
  • Strong skills in procedural monitoring, IV management, and critical thinking
  • Ability to complete compliance requirements and orientation in a timely manner
  • RTO should ideally be no more than 5 days
Responsibilities
  • Provide safe, high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
  • Assist with pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure patient care
  • Monitor patients receiving moderate sedation and provide procedural support as needed
  • Support medication administration, IV access, and hemodynamic monitoring
  • Collaborate with radiology, IV team, respiratory services, pharmacy, and other support departments
  • Maintain infection prevention, safety, and procedural best practices
  • Respond appropriately to patient changes and support a smooth procedural workflow
  • Participate in call coverage as scheduled
