Description
If you enjoy tackling a mix of cleaning, light maintenance, and organizing supplies, this role may be a great fit.
LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is hiring a Facilities & Supplies Specialist to help keep our Decatur, AL facility clean, organized, and running smoothly. This role combines facility upkeep, light maintenance, and supply/inventory coordination that supports our lifesaving blood drive operations.
This is a full-time position. Starting salary range is $15.00 - $16.50 an hour.
What You'll Do
  • Maintain the cleanliness and safety of our Decatur, AL facility and surrounding grounds
  • Perform light maintenance and facility upkeep
  • Order, receive, and track supplies for the region
  • Prepare and organize supplies for community blood drives
  • Assist with vehicle inspections and cleaning
  • Coordinate with vendors performing facility work

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet LifeSouth driving requirements
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment and basic tools
  • Strong organization and multitasking skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and vendors
  • Two (2) years of facilities, maintenance, or custodial experience is preferred
