Job Title: Regional Technical Lead

Job Location: Houston, TX

The Regional Technical ย Lead, Industrial Projects will be accountable for the design, coordination, and delivery of technically compliant, competitive, and valuedriven bid solutions. The role leads technical bid coordination and acts as the primary technical writer, ensuring that solutions are clearly articulated, compliant, and aligned with customer value drivers.

The role is responsible for managing technical inputs endtoend across complex RFQs and tenders, ensuring adherence to governance, quality standards, and timelines, while supporting the sustainable growth of DHL Industrial Projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Works in close partnership with the Regional Commercial Lead and broader bid stakeholders to translate customer requirements and commercial strategy into robust technical solutions and highquality written proposals.
  • Review, interpret, and break down complex RFQs and tender requirements for medium to largescale multimodal Industrial Projects, identifying technical challenges, risks, and value drivers
  • Own and define the technical bid strategy for regional opportunities, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, operational feasibility, and the commercial strategy defined with the Regional Commercial Lead
  • Design and coordinate technically compliant, competitive, and differentiated logistics solutions covering scope, methodology, equipment, routing, interfaces, and execution assumptions
  • Act as the primary technical writer for bids, ensuring technical concepts, execution methodologies, and value propositions are clearly articulated and consistently reflected throughout the proposal
  • Coordinate and manage technical inputs from operations, engineering, chartering, HSSE, and other subjectmatter experts, setting clear expectations, responsibilities, and timelines
  • Ensure technical solutions are fully aligned with commercial assumptions and pricing logic, working closely with the Regional Commercial Lead to avoid misalignment or submission risk
  • Manage bid timelines and technical deliverables, proactively addressing gaps, dependencies, or underperformance to ensure ontime, highquality submissions
  • Ensure all technical content complies with customer requirements, internal governance standards, templates, and applicable policies
  • Identify technical risks and mitigation measures, supporting their documentation and alignment within the overall bid strategy
  • Apply industry expertise to identify trends, best practices, and solution enhancements that reduce operational risk and strengthen proposal quality
  • Act as a regional technical reference point, providing guidance, coaching, and support to contributors and helping uplift technical bid capability within the region
  • Collaborate with Global Bid Team, Engineering, and Technical experts where required to ensure consistency, quality, and application of best practices

Skills / Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience/qualifications
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in Project Logistics
  • Required experience with Breakbulk, Heavy Lift and Out of Gauge cargo
  • Foundational knowledge of projects management principles and tools
  • Minimum of 3+ years experience in tender management or in similar role
  • Stress resistant and quick learner

Pay Range: $105,682.50 - $140,910.00+ (Based on Experience)
