Summary of the Job:The Regional Sales Manager position is responsible for leading, developing, and managing a team of field sales resources with the goal of exceeding the annual sales targets for the assigned region. This role requires a high level of direct coaching and people development skills as well as the ability to use data to drive the required results for the region. The Regional Sales Manager is expected to develop strong cross-functional relationships to improve sales processes and ultimately improve the customer experience. This position will be a participant on the sales leadership team and be expected to champion change initiatives, provide input on go-to-market strategies, and help guide the overall direction of the sales organization.To succeed in this position, candidates should have exceptional communication, problem-solving, and sales coaching skills as well as being resourceful, analytical, adaptable, and organized with the ability to build rapport with customers.Main ResponsibilitiesAccountable for hiring, onboarding, training, and performance managing the assigned field sales resourcesMonitor sales activity/sales reporting, including key pipeline reports to coaching sales performance and direct sales resourcesDevelop and communicate strategic plans for assigned regions and local territories in collaboration with National Account teamCollaborate with internal cross-functional teams to remove barriers, improve processes, set customer expectations, and deliver an overall positive experience for our customersEstablish and track sales activity goals and objectives for individual sales reps based on their annual sales goals and experience.
