This is an opportunity for an experienced operator and business leader to lead one of the most active and strategically important fire protection operations in the country.ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITYThe General Manager is the senior operational and commercial leader responsible for the overall performance, growth, and long-term success of Allstate Sprinkler in the New York City market. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President, this role owns full branch accountability -including safety, customer experience, revenue growth, profitability, field execution, talent development, and operational excellence across inspection, service, repair, and installation services for fire sprinkler, fire alarm, fire extinguisher and related fire and life safety offerings. The General Manager will lead the continued evolution of Allstate Sprinkler as part of the Guardian platform - preserving the company's strong local reputation while implementing scalable operating disciplines, technology enablement, and operational excellence. This role requires a highly visible leader who thrives in fast-paced service environments, develops strong teams, makes decisive operational decisions, and consistently delivers financial and customer outcomes.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESStrategic & Business Leadership Own annual operating plans, forecasts, budgets, and KPI execution.Drive organic growth through customer expansion, service penetration, and market development.Represent Allstate externally and contribute to Guardian strategic initiatives. Operations Management Lead all day-to-day branch operations. Establish operating rhythms, forecasting, KPI reviews, and accountability mechanisms.Improve deficiency conversion to repair and project opportunities.Drive scheduling, dispatch, documentation quality, productivity, and backlog execution.Financial Management Maintain full P&L ownership.Drive pricing discipline, margin expansion, and contract profitability.Improve working capital through billing, collections, WIP, and backlog management. Compliance, Safety & Quality Ensure compliance with NFPA, OSHA, FDNY, NYC, DOT, and AHJ requirements.Maintain technician licensing, certifications, and service quality.People Leadership & Culture Build and retain high-performing teams.Foster accountability, ownership, collaboration, and safety. Customer & Stakeholder Relations Maintain strategic customer relationships and act as executive escalation point.
